Our Northeast Library Media Center now owns 6 Barnes & Noble Color Nook ereaders.  Currently, these are available to faculty for individual use and to students for whole-class assignments. 

TO SEE TITLES THAT ARE CURRENTLY ON OUR NOOKS: Titles on Nooks.doc

TO CHECK OUT A NOOK EREADER (STAFF ONLY) :
Download/review/sign the District Loan Request Form.
   Bring completed form to library media center.

TO SCHEDULE USE WITH YOUR CLASS OR TO REQUEST A BOOK PURCHSE: Bring Nook Class Set Request to library.  Allow several days lead time to ensure that content is downloaded and devices are available. 

Visit Barnes & Noble Nook site for ebooks we can buy.

TO FIND FREE EBOOKS: Most books published before 1923 are in the public domain and can be legally downloaded for free.  There are MANY places to find free ebooks online.  Start with these:

NOOK USER GUIDE: There are lots of resources available from Barnes & Noble about Nook features.  Questions?  Try these tips from Barnes & Noble: "Nook Tour"from Barnes & Noble for quick access and navigation questions.

Held during Parent Teacher Conferences, our hours are:

Thursday 2/2, 4:00-8:30 pm
Friday 2/3, 3:10-4:00 pm
Monday 2/6 3:10-4:00 pm
Tuesday 2/7 3:10-8:30 pm
Wednesday 2/8 3:10-4:00 pm
Thursday 2/9 8:00 am-12:00 pm





Library Media Program
This curriculum is taught K-5 and builds an awareness for online safety and responsible computer use.
The media center keeps growing and growing! We add new books to our collection each semester!
